Childcare/ Nannying

I have worked in childcare for approximately 3-4 years.  I can look after many children at once and for children as young as 3 months up to 16 years of age. I can help with homework, prepare snacks/breakfast/lunches/dinners which are wholesome and nutritious and I will work with different dietary needs.

I am experienced in all aspects of infant care- bathing, feeding, putting to sleep/soothing, changing, developmental play and so forth.  I love to prepare activities and the safety of the children is always my number one priority.  I communicate well without getting angry or frustrated and am nurturing and loving.

Tutoring

I have worked as a tutor for approximately 2 years.  I specialise in English. I can also tutor Math, Health and some aspects of Science.  I have tutored between the ages of 6 years to 17 years of age, I am patient, understanding and I am adaptable in my method of teaching.

I can help with homework and also set tasks for student progress. Focussed and willing to learn.  I am goal orientated and focus on meeting my goals through to completion.  I am very willing to learn new duties and tasks to work efficiently, making me more adaptable in a changing environment. I am also a quick learner and use my initiative, highly reliable and am always on time and ready to work.  I am a dependable person who is honest and trustworthy.

I have my own transport to get to and from place which is safe and roadworthy.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Childcare and Nannying

July 2017- December 2017
Nanny
2 year old twins and 7 year old – all girls

Looking after the twin girls 3 days a week- this includes constructive play, meal preparation, nap time and so forth. Picking up from preschool on other days in the afternoon. Also picking up 7- year old girl from school every day and looking after all children; food preparation (dinner, lunch for the next day), homework, playtime and bath time.

Role includes general house tidying such as laundry, dishes, vacuuming and on call baby sitting.  *This role ends after Christmas* but can be flexible.

September 2016- June 2017
Full time nanny
2.5-year-old boy and 6 year old girl

Looking after the toddler during the day including constructive play time, preparing and serving lunch/dinner, nap time, reading time and so forth. I looked after him from the morning to the evening and handled everything in between that time such as nappy changes and bath time.  From the afternoon onwards, I had the little girl as well and my duties in regards to her included
picking her up from school, homework, afterschool activities, preparing lunch for the next day and assisting with bath time and bed time. During any downtime I did light housework such as laundry, dishes, vacuuming. I also ran errands when requested.
