I have previously worked in Wee Care which includes maintenance and care for a range of children from feeding to personal hygiene and day to day duties which included some early childhood education.

I have also been running the kitchen in my current centre for the past year and before that on and off for another 2 years. This has included doing the meal planning, shopping lists, prepping meals, cooking meals and baking snacks, delivering meals to 8 different classrooms, running to a timetable for meal distribution and handling food health and safety paperwork etc.

I am easy to get on with, am enthusiastic, encouraging, patient, compassionate and am also well able to work within a team environment. I am able to get on with professionals, teachers, parents and peers of all varying abilities and ages.

I am willing to undergo further training, attend workshops and learn in whatever field is required. My computer and technology skills are adequate but if they need updating I am also willing to undergo further training for these.

I am able to encourage social interactions and provide assistance as required and withdraw when appropriate to enable and encourage independence. I have a broad skill set that I am willing to expand and further to be able to support and encourage any child who I assist.

My drive and passion is to see children of all levels of ability be able to reach their full potential physically, socially, emotionally and educationally.
