Roles & Responsibilities: Caring for three children aged 7 months, 3 & 5 years. Responsibilities include changing nappies, preparing bottles, nutritional snacks and meals, daily outings, walks to the park, arts and crafts, stimulating play and activities, school drop off and pick up, bathing and supervising bath-time, general household duties. This family calls on Leanne on a regular basis so this is a steady job, however, she would like the security of a permanent role on a long-term basis.
2004 – 2008
Part-time/Casual Solecharge Nanny – Smyth Family, Paddington
Roles & Responsibilities: This role originally started out as a solecharge nanny working 3 days per week for and 18 month old and a 4 year old between 2004 and 2005. Responsibilities included daily outings and activities, playgroup, trips to the Museum etc. Singing and dancing, arts and crafts, meal preparation and general household duties. Between 2005 and 2006, Leanne travelled abroad on a visa and also travelled Australia upon her return. She commenced work again with this family as an After School Carer 4 days per week and full-time during the school holidays. Responsibilities included school pick up, after school activities, assisting with homework, preparing evening meal, supervising bath time and general household duties. Leanne continues to work with the family on a ‘when needed basis’ and full-time during the school holidays if required.
2001 – 2003 Part-time Solecharge Nanny – Dabscheck Family, Vaucluse
Roles & Responsibilities: Caring for two children aged 3 months and 4 years. Responsibilities included feeding, settling for naps, bathing, changing nappies, daily outings, activities and arts and crafts. Preparing meals and household duties. Again, Leanne has strong relationship with this family and works with them on a casual basis even now.
