'About Me & My Work History...

My name is Charmaine and I'm 46yrs of age. I have baby sat and cared for many children in my youth. I have lived in and cared for 2 baby boys while there parents managed a hotel in my mothers country town of Dungog.

I then went to an International nanny school in Newcastle before I became a live in nanny to a single father who had a 9yr old daughter and a 13yr old son in Coffs Harbour where I prepared school lunches and did drop offs and pick ups from school, all family meals, shopping, washing, vacunming, cleaning and any other duties that needed doing.

After my time looking after the family in Coffs Harbour, I moved to Qld where I worked hard in a clothing factory on week days and did housemaiding and working as my fathers builders assistant on weekends.

I then returned to the Hunter Valley where I undertook a business catering course for 12 mths and then secured a live in nanny/ housekeeper role for a lovely lady who was a Doctor and her husband who was a farmer in Cowra, NSW.  I looked after their 2 lovely young children. Thomas was 18mth and Eliza was 2.5yrs old when I first arrived and I loved and treated them as if they were my own. I became like a big sister and also like part of the family.

After these experiences, I returned to hospitality and worked in the kitchens at both the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Center and then the Mater Private hospital from 1997 - 2005.  

I took up contract cleaning where I cleaned 9 banks, 8 story communication building, 300+ office desk loans processing floor space and then 3 police stations and a watch house until 2012.

I took a break for a short time and then took up studies in a Fashion Diploma Course for 2.5yrs which I have learned to love.

I have now moved back to Dungog NSW where I am doing sewing jobs for many local people but I would love to return to a work place where you can show love to the people you are looking after and caring for.  I have also worked for a lovely family on a casual basis with one 3 year old boy in Seal Rocks.

I hope my life story some how shows you of the experiences I have had without being too extensive! I would like to reiterate that I have a geuine love for looking after and caring for all the young ones in my past and I hope that you will consider my application based on my experiences.
