Solecharge Nanny/After School Carer

Caring for children ranging in age from newborn to teenage years where activities and duties have included getting the children up and ready for school in the mornings, ensuring they have everything they need for the day at school, packing school bags, morning tea and lunches, organising daily outings, full-time care during school holidays, attending after school activities, preparing evening meals, assisting with homework and projects and all associated household duties.

This was a multifaceted role, that involved not only being the sole charge of 2 children (aged 5 & 6) but I was also the house manager of a large family home.

• Organisation / oversight of tradesman
• Organising travel, appointments, flights as well as purchasing everything associated to the home
• Transporting children to appointments, activities, preschool etc
• Accompanying children on flights including having children 24/7 while parents were travelling
• Organising educational/fun activities at home and outings.
• Preparing house hold for functions
• Running daily errands –dry cleaning, shopping, car servicing, etc

Sole charge for one child (17 months)
• Housekeeping related to child
• Preparation of nutritious meals, organising educational activities, transportation to preschool activities, appointments etc
• I also ran a playgroup in this time
