Summary: Gained an insight of how a typical café operates. Was given opportunity to take part in a wide variety of tasks, which led me to a greater appreciation of a small business in operation.

-Served pies, cakes, coffee, tea and hot food over the counter.
Worked on the cash register, giving change.
Counting the day’s takings at the end of the day.
Cleaned the kiosk, arranged tables, kept the place neat and tidy.
Prepared the kiosk for opening in the morning and was involved in all the tasks required to make it run smoothly.
Summary: Gained valuable experience in how another small food business operates. There were a large number of customers at any one time, had to practice time management and good customer relations to keep everyone satisfied.

Summary: A very responsible position where I had to take total responsibility for a number of children. Learned to organise activities for them, kept them entertained and learnt to be very patient.

-Candy Bar: Serving food, drinks and up selling meals. Have to know everything about the products and have excellent communication skills.
Floor: Check the tickets and usher people to the correct cinema, make sure the cinemas are swept and clean at all times before the movies start.
Ticket Box: Sell movie tickets, great with customer service, excellent with handling difficult situations and exceptional use with using the cash register.
Summary: Have the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of people. Involved a great deal of communication and customer service skills. Organising the customer counter to ensure that it is neat and tidy. Responsibility for the cash register.
