In between jobs and during her University break, Emily worked in the above two roles but wanted to return to her love for working with children asap.

Childcare Assistant – ABC Learning Centre, Garran ACT
Roles & Responsibilities: Caring for and supervising children between the ages of 12 months to 6 years where duties included assisting the room leader, changing nappies, feeding, settling, educational activities, indoor and outdoor play and supervision, reading and keeping a clean and happy environment for the children.

Waitress/Floor Staff/Hospitality – Coffee
Culture, Bowral/Police Dining Hall, Barton/Milton Park Hotel, Bowral
Again during her University break, Emily worked in the above roles and managed to secure employment with the above centre which was her ideal.

Feb 05 – Nov 05
Live-in Nanny – Sutler-Alder Family, Herisau Switzerland
Roles & Responsibilities: Caring for four children aged 1.5, 3, 7 and 8 years of age where duties included preparing children for school, daily outings to the shops, playground, activities, arts and crafts, general household duties, children’s washing, preparing meals etc.
