About Me...
Hello, My Name is Melissa Erwin
I would like to apply for the position of Part-time Nanny.
I am a dedicated hard working person with a great attitude towards any role that I undertake. I have been working with children aged between newborn to teenage years for quite a number of years now so am familiar with all age groups and introducing and/or following a routine and schedule for the children.
I have been a Foster Carer for 5 years (children have been of the ages 1 year to 7 years old). Some of these children have had their own medical problems and issues that require me to pay particular attention to foods/allergies/medications. I attend regular training for raising children. In the last 5 years some of these children have spent some lengthy periods at my house. I gave up my retail work to become a full time Foster Carer last year. I have a daughter and 1 foster care child in my care. My daughter has been diagnosed with Autism and goes to regular Occupation Therapy and Psychology. I understand the needs of children with Autism and the practices that require them to complete basic tasks.
I am an excellent cook with a great attitude towards domestic duties. I really enjoy working with children and being a big part in their lives.
I would really welcome an interview.
