Freemans Bay School
During my time at Freemans Bay School I was responsible for the education and care of a class of 21 five year old children. In my class I had children from a range of cultural backgrounds and a diverse range of learning abilities. I also worked with other teachers to form a Cultural Club and organised regular meetings for the School Council. I have also undergone Professional Development for Reading, Writing, Maths and I have attended a Beginning Teacher Course regularly throughout the past two years.


May 2006–April 2007 English Teacher
GEOS for Children, Mito City, Japan
During my time employed with GEOS I was responsible for planning enjoyable, interactive lessons for children ranging from 8 months to 15 years old. I was promoted twice during my one year contract with them.
January 2001-May 2006 Various Nanny Positions
From the time I started studying for my Nanny Certificate in 2001 until the time I went to Japan in 2006 I worked for a number of different families as a nanny. I have worked with newborns, multiple births and children with special needs. I have also worked as a mother help, in sole-charge and temporary live-in positions.
