'About Me...'
I absolutely love kids, and it’s a joy being in their world. I’ve got a Certificate III in Childhood Education and Care, have had experience in kindergartens with babies as well as 3 to 5 year olds, and have been nannying 3 boys (aged 4, 6 and 10) over the past 3 years, as well as years of babysitting experience.
One of my recent roles was working with a disabled mother and her 3 kids - 5 year old twins (boy and girl) and an 8 year old boy. The experience I've gained in providing support for the sick, elderly and disabled, and those that can’t communicate or care for themselves has also been invaluable.
People have mentioned how great I am with kids. I adore them, spend the time to get to know them and connect, and bring a lot of love and fun to the table, which in turn develops a strong bond. I love children. It’s been a blessing to have three, beautiful nephews in my life and to learn and grow with them. I’ve had numerous compliments on the way I interact with children and have had special connections with many. I think it’s because I take an interest in understanding and connecting with them on their level. They are gorgeous, interesting, insightful little beings and being a big kid myself, definitely helps me relate. I’m passionate about making a difference in their world. We play such an important role at this developmental stage, and have the power to make a positive impact on the rest of their lives.
