Casual Solecharge Nanny/Babysitter - Abracadabra
Roles & Responsibilities: Caring for children ranging in age from newborn to teenage years. Carel has been with our agency for many years now and has proven herself to be kind, caring, attentive to children’s needs, a very good awareness of safety and creating a fun and loving environment within the children’s homes. She actively involves herself with the children through educational games and activities, reading stories, writing, daily outings, preparing bottles, feeding, settling, administering medication, preparing nutritional snacks and meals and carrying out general household duties. The feedback has been excellent - she comes highly recommended and requested back by regular clients. An example of a couple of the many assignment that Carel carried out for us on a casual basis include:

Caring for three children, twins aged 4 and one 6.5 year old where duties included playing games, preparing dinner, supervising bath-time, reading and settling children for bed.

Caring up to 4 children under the age of 5 at one time. Activities and duties included following a programmed schedule of activities within a crèche environment, changing nappies, feeding, settling, stimulating play, reading, walks outside, library visits and keeping a clean and healthy environment for the children.

Roles & Responsibilities: Caring for two children, one newborn and a 2 year old where activities and duties included planning daily outings, educational play and activities, arts and crafts, music and dance, reading and writing,

Swim teacher/Swim School Manager
Working with children ranging in age from 2-5 years old. Carel has been teaching swimming for many years and really enjoys educating children on water safety and teaching them how to swim from an early age. She finds this very rewarding and builds a special bond with each of the children she works with.

Weekend Respite for Newborn Babies

During this time I assisted mothers with their newborns when they needed some time to themselves. My role was to collect the child from their home and have them stay with me for the weekend where activities and duties included changing nappies, feeding, settling, stimulating play and activities, reading, preparing nutritional snacks and meals and creating a warm and loving environment within my own home for the children.

Caring for one child aged 9 years where duties included after school care including assisting with homework, teaching English, preparing afternoon tea and evening meals and general household duties.
