I have over 14 year’s experience in the child care industry, I have spent my time in various child care centre’s being a room leader & a supervisor, then went on to be a nanny for a private family, I get a lot of joy out of working with children and this is something I am very passionate about. During my time being a Nanny, my duties include supervision of both children before and after school, afternoon actives that include taking the children to swimming lessons, tennis & various sports, assisting with homework, meal preparation, bathing and feeding, school holiday activities and helping with house hold duties eg- washing, ironing, and running errands. I have experience with all age groups ranging from birth 0 -12 years. During this time as the supervisor I am required to carry out all office/admin duties that include all data entry payroll, banking, writing reports, word processing, Microsoft office & Outlook skills, dealing with telephone and email enquiries, creating and maintaining filing systems, keeping diaries, arranging meetings and appointments for staff members. In my role at Pagewood Kindergarten I am required to adhere to and implement the National Quality Framework and ensure that all standards are being met. In my role as the educational leader of the 3-5 year old’s, I was also required to write up observations on children as well as extend their learning and report on this extension, I am required to meet all regulations and requirements as set out in the National Quality Standards (NQS) as well as supervise staff, office duties including all uploading attendances and organise credit card payments each fortnight. I am also required to supervise staff rosters including programing, leave and lunch breaks. I pride myself in my personal appearance, hygiene & my ability to be adaptable, resilient and able to work under pressure I learnt skills that I can now take to a new and challenging role.
