'About Me...

I have just completed my regional work for my second year visa in Mildura, Victoria. I have worked in a number of jobs and I have adapted well in each job and I have endured 4 and a half months. I am now wanting to secure a position as a Nanny in Sydney where I am based and willing to offer 6 months committment.  I have a genuine love for children and have a strong background of experience in this area.'

July 2014 – September 2016
Starfish Day Nursery
Farnham

I was working in a private nursery for two years and I was promoted several times throughout my time. I worked in the baby room which took children from 3 months to 2 and a half years. I also went into the pre school room when needed. After a year I was promoted to second in charge and shortly after promoted again to room leader. I was in charge of the planning of activities, the running of the room and all the staff including organising the rotas of jobs. Although, I still took part in everyday routines e.g nappy changes, preparing food at every meal times, making milks, putting babies to sleep, playing, risk assessing situations etc. I also had office duties, if my manager or deputy manager were not in that day I was in charge of opening and closing the nursery, answering the phones, greeting the parents at drop off and pick up times, taking payments using card machines and running the nursery as a whole.

September 2015 – December 2015
Farnham

I returned to the nursery 4 days a week as they changed their working hours so on my day off I nannied a 2 year old boy from the nursery I worked at – his parents had requested me for a while so I took the opportunity to help when I could.

Duties – general care, park, playtime, reading stories, nap times, preparing 3 meals a day.

April 2015 – September 2015
Pirbright

I looked after two girls aged 2 and 5, I started work at 7am and finished at 6. My duties were getting the girls up and ready for school, doing the laundry and house duties. It was my job to do the school run everyday, keep the youngest entertained as she did not attend pre-school, cook and prepare their 3 meals a day and complete their bedtime routines before I left.

March 2013- July 2014
Sainsbury’s
Farnham

In this role I was on the checkouts, I was trained to efficiently use a complex till and interact with customers in a positive manner at all times.

March 2013 – July 2014
Bagshot Village Café
This job role consisted of waitressing but also cooking and cleaning the cafe throughout the day and a thorough clean at the end too. It involved preparing hot and cold food, hot and cold drinks; clearing and cleaning tables. I was also till-trained.

Interests

I enjoy going out and socializing with people, I also love being active and I go to the gym regularly. I have my new found love for experiencing different lifestyles and cultures and intend on doing so for the next few years.
