Au-Pairs (Services Temporarily on hold due to COVID-19 - please contact us for further information/assistance)
Are: Live-in Nannies that offer a weekly allowance that is a subsidised rate to include accommodation, food, rent, utility bills etc. Au-Pairs are willing to travel Australia Wide so they may not be located in your area, or in the area where your booking/placement is required if looking for a Nanny/Babysitter/In-home Carer. However, we will endeavour to assist with finding another carer in your area to assist your needs and we would provide you with a full brief on the assigned carer/s.
Nannies/Babysitters/In-home Carers/Before & or After School Care
Are: Live-out carers that charge an hourly rate with a minimum 4 hours per day for one shift, if split shift is required (i.e. Before & After School Care) then a minimum 2 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the afternoon will be required. The reason these are set minimum hours is because it is very difficult to find carers who are willing to commit to fewer hours therefore meaning less consistency for you and your family.
- If bookings are received within 48 hours of commencement of the assignment or made after hours then the booking fee will be $40 (+GST).
- If bookings are remote then there maybe an increase in the agency booking fee, please contact the agency for details
- If children to be cared for are from different families or if there is more than 3 children please contact the agency for details as additional fees maybe involved to comply with children to carer/nanny ratio

Worked as an AuPair in Lyon and Paris - France
I worked in France for a year and a half as an au pair and as a nanny. I worked as a nanny for two families, ones of the family had two children aged 6 and 3 years old and the other family I worked with a kid of 9 years old. Some of my duties were: collect the kids at school, help them with their homework, prepare some snacks, help them to clean their rooms, sometimes I did babysitting on weekends.
Work as an au pair for 2 families, one for 6 months and the other for 7 months.
For the first family care for two children aged 6 and 8 years old, my duties were: help the kids in the morning to prepare to go to school, make them breakfast, taking them to school by car or on foot, pick the schools, give them a snack, help with their homework, play with them, prepare dinner, take them to their activities, swimming and soccer.
With the second Family I took care of two children (twins) of 15 months old. I worked Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 am to 7 pm. Monday and Thursday I used to go to French class and the kids went to the nursery. During the day that I took care of them, I played with them, prepared lunches, snacks, changed diapers and just took care of them until their parents arrived.
