2015 – Present
I run my own Art Therapy and Counselling Practice in North Avoca, focusing mainly on children, however I do also see teens and adults. I have great success with a broad area of issues, such as anxiety, depression, divorce, bullying, grief, life changes, and many others. I use a range of modalities, including Journey Therapy, emotional release work and cellular healing, Art Therapy and creative processes, as well as practical tools to take into every day life. I am passionate about helping children release what is weighing them down, so they can enjoy their childhood, and grow up to be the best they can be.
Childcare
2013 - Present
I work privately for local families in Sydney and on the Central Coast, offering sole-care childcare and nannying, and hands on practical family support. My role includes, but is not limited to, sole care of babies and children and teens; games, art, crafts and activities; school runs and homework; after school activities, cooking and meal prep; supporting when bullying happens at school, or issues arise at home, and anything else that is needed.
I worked for a family in Sydney for 2 and a half years, with two amazing young boys, 4 and 6yrs old. I only left due to relocating to the Central Coast. I had the boys 2-3 full days a week, we did lots of fun activities, arts crafts, sport, went to the beach, I also helped with cooking, homework, baths, teaching them to read and write, school runs, school lunches, etc, and anything else that was needed.
Since living up here I have worked for a family with lovely two girls, 8 and 9, in Empire Bay.
I've also worked for a great family in Wamberal, with three children, 6, 10, and 12.
These were both for after school care, picking them up from school, driving to and from after school activities, homework, baths and dinners. As well as hanging out, having fun, doing arts and crafts and games, and caring for them in the school holidays.
Most recently I am working for a family in Terrigal with two gorgeous children, 2 and 4. I look after them one day a week, go to swimming lessons, do activities and play games, food prep, nappy changing, etc.
