Gift ideas for Mother's Day
Want to know the quickest way to melt a mother's heart? A rickety home-made present from their precious preschooler. This month we have compiled a list of adorable gift projects perfect for Mother's Day, which is this weekend Sunday 13 May.

Paper Mache jewellery plate – paper mache projects take a while to complete so be sure to allocate enough time if programming this one for Mother’s Day.

Hand painted fridge magnets – you'll need some store-bought supplies for this project, but the results are lovely and will be as individual as the children (and mums) in your service.

Bling bling wind spinners – we love activities that upcycle unwanted materials, this activity is a wonderful way to use up all the blank CDs and DVDs you have in the cupboard. Be sure to make a few extra to hang in the garden.

Water bottle wind spirals – Create a glorious multi-coloured wind spinner to hang in the wind.

Flower drops – clear plastic Christmas ornaments are the main ingredient in this activity, which results in a gorgeous gift Mum will be able to hang anywhere!

Homemade flower cards – cute and whimsical, these cards are quick and easy and won't put a strain on your supplies cupboard.

Painted pebble paper weights – all you need for this project is an assortment of smooth round rocks and a selection of brightly coloured paints. Children may prefer to use brushes or fingers to create their masterpiece!

Dream catchers – All mums could do with a little more sleep and these sweet dream catchers made from wool and paper plates, will ensure the mothers in your service have happy dreams while they doze!

Thanks to the amazingly creative Jackie at Happy Hooligans for these inspiring craft ideas!
