Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education McKinnon! Our education and care centre in southeast Melbourne is warm and welcoming, with high-quality early childhood education programs focused on play-based learning. Our team of qualified Teachers and Educators provide a stimulating environment for children aged six weeks to six years of age to discover the world in a safe and secure way and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Our McKinnon early learning centre boasts an engaging range of indoor and outdoor environments, including water play areas, a vegetable garden, and natural climbing structures. Our daycare centre in McKinnon is an ideal choice for families in the surrounding suburbs of Bentleigh, Brighton East and Ormond.

The first five years of your child’s life are incredibly important when it comes to social and emotional development and setting them up with a love of learning that lasts a lifetime. Programs

The centre programs revolve around the interests and skills of the children. The educators take a personalised approach to get to know each child, their needs and what interests them most. They then tailor the program to match.

With a mix of structured and unstructured play, the educators embed important foundational learning and skills throughout the day. What may seem like fun and play to the children or even to an outside observer, the educators carefully plan activities with real learning benefits. Whether it’s counting the chairs to put out at lunch or practising social skills through dress up play, the children are always growing, learning and developing.
