(02) 9073 4752A boutique service focused on the individual needs and interests of children from six weeks to six years old, our Young Academics Marsden Park Early Learning Centre offers a tailored program led by experienced educators committed to building confidence and a love of learning in every child.
The dynamic, welcoming indoor learning environment is centred around customised learning spaces to develop children’s skills in areas including numeracy, literacy and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) as well as creative pursuits such as art, dramatic play and music. Children benefit from a combination of planned learning experiences, time to use their imagination, and build upon their individual interests. Planned learning experiences help children engage in group work and develop problem-solving skills, while there is also plenty of time for rest, reflection, independent learning and experiential play. In our outdoor learning environment, popular resources including the garden and sandpit, where children cooperate with their peers and explore nature at their own pace.
Our tailored Evolution Program has been designed for children up to age three, while those between three and five are prepared for kindergarten with our Transition to School Program.
Healthy meals and snacks are enjoyed five times daily, prepared by an expert in-house cook. All nappies and wipes are included. Cot linen provided (excludes stretcher bed linen).

Our Philosophy We embrace a holistic approach to collaborative learning by establishing relationships between children, families, educators, community and the environment. The role of educator is to facilitate co-learning by allowing children to explore their ideas and interests through opportunities for hypothesizing, investigating and discovery. Through team collaboration, reflective practice and professional development, our educators will continue to challenge their knowledge and understanding.

6 weeks – 24 months
Young Academics’ Evolution Program for infants recognises that this is a period of rapid growth and development for young children, and allows for tailored goals and milestones according to each child’s individual developmental timeline. Some examples of how our Evolution Program supports your child’s learning and development during this important time include:
Active learning experiences: Every activity is designed to help infants develop and move towards key milestones, from reading stories & singing songs with children, to promote oral and aural language skills to stimulating curiosity through sensory experiences.
Age appropriate resources: Through carefully selected resources, equipment and facilities such as sensory panels, toys and mirrors, infants naturally learn to recognise basic concepts and colours. - Routines and consistency: To foster positive behaviours, our educators ensure that children’s individual needs for sleeping, eating, active and quiet play are met on time, every day.
2 years – 3 years
Toddler learning happens through exploration and discovery and our Evolution Program focuses on stimulating curiosity through play-based learning and intentional teaching. Some examples of how our Evolution Program supports your toddler’s learning and development include:
Purpose designed learning envrionments: Our outdoor environments and toddler rooms have been strategically designed to enhance every child’s experience, allowing them to learn, develop and explore freely through texture, space, colour and more.
Play based learning: Our toddler program promotes positive learning through play where our educators lead the way for your child to discover, create and problem solve. This is done in both indoor and outdoor learning environments.
Nutrition: Every day, our in-house cooks prepare five healthy and nutritious meals and snacks that have been specifically planned by a dietician. Every child in our care is taught about the importance of nutrition, planting the seeds for a healthy lifestyle later in life.
3 years - 5 years
As your child is getting ready to start ‘big school’, our Transition to School Program recognises the importance of the formative preschool years in terms of building their emotional, cognitive and physical development. Natural Envrionments:
Our centres allow children to learn through exploration with access to outdoor learning environments with features such as bike tracks, sandpits, and quiet zones for yoga, stimulating their curiosity with bold colours, interactive equipment, and more.
Nutrition:
Created by a dietician and implemented by an in-house cook, our approach to Nutrition promotes health and nourishment through every meal. With a healthy mind and body, children can concentrate and learn, helping them make healthier decisions when they transition into school and beyond.

Our program implements a play based learning approach, with every activity ensuring your child is ready for real-life situations. At Young Academics, we pride ourselves on our signature approach to early learning education programs that meet the needs of every child, with the support of our well-resourced environments and sector-leading educators.
Our programs are strongly aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework. The principles that underpin the United Nations on the Rights of the Child guide and inform our practices. The Young Academics Curriculum is underpinned by play-based learning. Play-based learning is how children under the age of five learn while having fun at the same time, and this program promotes a combination of outcomes and skills that will set your child up for a successful transition to their new school setting.
With an equal focus on fostering physical, cognitive, and emotional development, children are guided by our expert educators to give them an understanding of the skills required for life, through play-based experiences.
Evolution Program (0-3):
We recognise the importance of the first three years of a child’s life and as such, ensure individuals approach their growth and development. The Young Academics Evolution Program is designed to support children from birth to three years to reach their developmental milestones and build the necessary skills to support their future learning.
Transition to school Program (3-5):
At Young Academics, we understand the importance of the formative preschool years in preparing children for school, and our program will help them prepare emotionally, cognitively, and physically for this significant transition. As your child prepares to start ‘big school’, our Transition to School Program recognises the importance of formative preschool years in terms of building their emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Beyond the core curriculum, we offer a range of enrichment activities, including music & movement, STEAM & Nutrition. These activities are designed to spark creativity, boost self-confidence, and enhance fine and gross motor skills.

At Young Academics, we are focused on the holistic growth and development of each child, with health and nutrition a top priority for us. Marsden Park features an inclusive menu of five delicious and nutritious daily meals prepared by our in-house cooks. All meals present an opportunity for our children to learn about the importance of a well-balanced diet, guiding them towards lifelong healthy eating habits.
A child’s first five years are crucial in developing healthy eating behaviours, exploring new foods and meeting nutritional requirements to help them grow and develop. Nutrition is also integral to improving children’s wellbeing, self-confidence, and ability to concentrate. At Young Academics, we understand our early learning environments play a pivotal role in exposing children to a variety of nourishing foods and promoting healthy eating habits for life.
Our holistic Nutrition Program allows children to take part in preparing and serving their meals and learn about the important connection between hygiene, physical activity, and healthy eating.Our nutritious seasonal four-week rotating menu meets 50% of your child’s daily nutritional requirements by serving a healthy variety of foods such as vegetables, fruits, lean meat, fish, chicken, dairy products and more.
