Welcome to St George Early Learning Centre - Prairiewood

St George Early Learning Centre caters to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in a warm and welcoming environment. Through a holistic curriculum and programs, the educators help equip the children with skills they need to succeed at school and beyond. They develop communication, problem solving, self-awareness and empathy as they grow cognitively, physically, socially and emotionally.

The spacious indoor learning environment is designed to flexibly adapt to the different learning styles and activities. This includes opportunities for both structured learning and spontaneous play. The rooms are well equipped with resources that meet the developmental needs of the children while also allowing them to pursue their individual interests.

Outdoors, the children can explore the equipment, building their physical and gross motor skills while they play alongside their peers. Creative expression is encouraged as the children use their imaginations to go on amazing adventures in the play yard.

Conveniently located on a quiet residential street, the centre is easily accessible. Parents can use the large onsite car park for pick up and drop off. Why not book a tour of this inclusive and engaging centre today?

Programs

Building on the strengths, interests and learning goals of every child, the program at St George Early Learning Centre is fun and play based. The children have opportunities to learn about themselves, the world around them and their role in it. They participate in a mix of spontaneous play and activities planned by the educators.

Through the program, the children explore early science concepts, creative techniques, music and movement. They learn early literacy and numeracy skills while also developing their physical, social and emotional skills. The centre has strong relationships in the community and utilises these to run regular community incursions and excursions.

In partnership with local schools, the centre also runs a school readiness program. The children visit the local school and library to help them prepare for the ‘big school’ environment. They also have lunch box days and work on other skills related to their independence.
