South Lake Early Learning Centre

Welcome to South Lake Early Learning Centre!

South Lake Early Learning Centre is a community based not for profit organisation that has been servicing families in the South Lake community for the past 30+ years.

We provide Early Education and Care for children 0-5yr olds and Before and After School care from Kindy age onwards. Our service is currently licensed for 69 children at Long Day Care (LDC) and 39 children at Out of School Hours Care (OSHC), providing a high quality & educational environment that promotes children’s well-being and development.

Our Children

We acknowledge and value the individuality and diversity of each child and we aim to provide a holistic curriculum and maintain a safe and healthy environment in which to grow. We do this by:

• Caring for each child’s needs and interests;
• Nurturing our children’s wonder by providing a rich environment ready for exploration.
• Providing high quality, culturally relevant, holistic programs;
• Providing opportunities and challenges for children’s learning, development and meaningful social interactions;
• Providing continuity of care and;
• Providing nurturing, responsive and supportive care educators.

Our centre is managed by a volunteer management committee. All funds raised by the centre go back into the centre for the children and families.

Our Centre is approved to operate by the Department of Communities Education and Care Regulatory Unit and is rated meeting all National Quality Standards.
