Welcome to Story House Early Learning Maitland
At Story House Early Learning Maitland, children aged 6 weeks to 5 years are cared for in a nurturing and authentic environment. Our service is set on over an acre of land in a converted church which provides a wonderful, rich history for the children and families to explore in our community.
Qualified educators lead a structured and expansive curriculum supporting children to learn through play. The large impressive outdoor space is filled with exciting opportunities and experiences to support the children's growth and development. The children can play in the tree swing, play fort or ride a bike on the natural bike track. In addition, there are herb and vegetable gardens and a sandpit to keep the children engaged and active.
The indoor spaces are age appropriate, with equipment and activities supporting the children's learning adventures. Magical reading spaces, arts and crafts and family play areas are just some of the learning experiences the children can access. Children take part in excursions around the local area including, art galleries, local parks, shopping centres, as well as incursions with Indigenous elders, educational wildlife, and virtual reality.
