The Pico Early Learning Centre & Kindergarten Team

Pico Early Learning Centre & Kindergarten offer the following programs as part of the daily fee: 

• Music & movement programs
• Sports for kinders program
• Bush kinder
• 4-seater pram for baby and toddler excursions
• Regular incursion and excursions
• Cooking and science experiments

At Pico Early Learning Centre & Kindergarten, the different areas are set up using a variety of natural materials and modern equipment to promote thoughts and imaginative play. The educators observe and listen to the children, then suggest and provide new possibilities and encourage the children to search and explore by altering activities according to their interests.

With their open-ended experiences, children are given more choices which allows for the opportunity to enhance self-esteem and confidence. Children are also supported with an intentional teaching program that is based on the age based ACECQA developmental checklists.

The children are cared for in the following age groupings: 

• Nursery – 6 weeks to 24 months
• Toddler – 2 years to 3 years
• 3 year old Kinder – 3 years to 4 years
• 4 year old Kinder – 4 years to 6 years
• Family Grouping
