Welcome to Sleep by Steph! Sleep by Steph is here to get you from exhausted and overwhelmed to rested, empowered and confident.

My name is Steph Gouin and I’m a qualified baby and child sleep expert, registered nurse (currently non-practising) and mum to three beautiful children, Poppy, Harry and Edward. Together with my husband, Nick, we live in Bayside, Melbourne.

Sleep hasn’t always come easy to me. I’ve struggled with sleep deprivation for most of my life. I know and fully understand how poor, broken sleep can destroy you. I really do know how torturous it can be.

My interest in baby and child sleep began when I had my firstborn, Poppy. I’m so passionate about the work I do, and I gain great satisfaction from educating, supporting and guiding parents through their own journeys, as soon as their baby arrives and in the years beyond.

As well as being Australia’s leading sleep expert, I’m an international keynote speaker and was honoured to speak at the Toddler Health and Wellness Conference 2019 in the Middle East. I’ve also been published in numerous magazines and online parenting forums in Australia and the US.

Over the years, I’ve proudly supported many celebrity and high-profile parents and worked alongside many incredible brands and businesses, including Kidspot, ergoPouch and One Fine Baby, who are just as passionate about baby and child sleep as I am.

Foundations First™ Sleep & Routine Video Course

One-on-One Consultations

When you’re beyond exhausted and feeling really stuck, a Consultation Call can help. Our experts will walk you through what you need to do to get your baby or child sleeping ASAP and firmly on track to sleep success for the weeks, months and years to come. You’ll leave the call feeling supported and empowered to take the next steps and be the confident parent you want to be for your little one. Premium Consultation Call (60 Minutes): Perfect for families who want to get started with individualised solutions to their sleep struggles, supported by one of our experts. Basic Consultation Call (30 Minutes): Works well for families who have previously worked with us and want some follow-up support, including a review of their progress, support to adjust their sleep plan, discussing how to move forward, or just a chat with someone who understands you and cares.
