What type of care does Care for Kids feature?
We feature long day care, family day care, out of school hours care, kindergarten and pre-school.
If a parent clicks 'Enquire Now', are they applying to enroll at my centre?
No. If a parent clicks Enquire Now, they are requesting a centre visit, hopefully with the intention to enroll. We recommend that all parents visit their chosen centre in person to make sure it’s the right fit for their family.
How will I know a parent is interested in visiting my family day care centre?
When a parent is interested in visiting your family day care centre, you’ll receive an email with their request. A member of our friendly team will also be in contact to help you arrange a centre visit with the family at a time that’s mutually suitable.
If I remove a family from my waitlist, can I get them back?
No, we cannot retrieve this information once removed.
How do I update my fees and vacancies?
Login in to your Care for Kids account and click "update profile" on the ribbon at the top of the
dashboard and scroll down to the fee and vacancy information
How do I access parent contact details?
If you are on a Basic (free) listing, you can pay per lead ($55.00 + GST per connection).
Otherwise get in touch with our Account Management team about upgrading your account.
The advantage of this is you can receive the details for the parents in your suburb and surrounding
areas if your vacancies match the parents' care requirements.
I am a Family Day Care educator, how can I update my Scheme?
Update your Scheme via your Dashboard.
My family day care service is no longer in operation. How do I remove it from the website?
Contact support@careforkids.com.au so that your listing can be removed.
I have received a waitlist application, what do I do now?
That's great news! Please login to your account where you will be able to view that application and the family's
care requirements on your dashboard. Just ensure you contact the family via email or phone to organise a tour of your service.
