| Linda has been looking after our little boy since he was 13 months and has been the best carer. It makes it a lot easier for me to leave him when I know he will get all the love and care from Linda that he would at home. Linda puts in so much effort organising the kids days and I love that she always gives a full report on what has been happening and what the kids have been up to. |

| Linda assisted with the care of our two children Max (two years old) and Lucy (four years old) for two years. We choose Linda at Happy House because we liked the fact that Linda had completed a formal four years of Children Studies and that she was from Germany which exposed our Children to the German language as well as another culture.
What was very important for us was that Linda runs Happy House under the Montessori philosophy, placing emphasis on self-directed learning activities (planned or unplanned) according to children’s needs, adapting the learning environment to the children’s developmental level. Linda offered the children the opportunity to develop self-correcting skills rather then being spoon feed. Learning by doing and discovering through play.
Linda would have her weeks planned with activities, and would also encourage children to choose activities, trying not to interrupt the child's spontaneous periods of play. Linda would run amazing activities and have themes, including gardening, baking etc. The children would help build their own cubby house, tell a lovely story and have music time and lots more. Further more Linda would look at each child as a special child and try to understand each child holistically. Also very important was that Linda encouraged healthy nutrition. We found Linda a fair and supportive person and very professional, full marks to you Linda. We highly recommend Linda and were very sad to have to take our kids out due to moving to Rockhampton.

| Linda helped us out with some temporary care for our little boy who is almost three. Will had a wonderful time at the Happy House, and Linda was a fantastic carer. Linda actually gets involved with the kids and makes every day a fun and different day. It was such a pleasure to hear him say every day "are we going to Linda's today?" It's a pity we can't always go to Linda's, but if you need any assurance that the Happy House is brilliant, then it's right here! Thanks so much Linda, All the best. |
