We hope you are enjoying the new CareforKids.com.au website and making the most of the added functionality and profile enhancements.
On top of the state of the art design and improved user interface the new website includes full use of our bespoke waitlist service. There is no cost to parents or providers.
In response to feedback from providers and families we are offering access to this valuable resource to streamline the waitlisting process and make it easier for providers to fill vacancies and communicate with parents looking for care.
Parents often grumble to us about how difficult it is to keep track of multiple waitlist applications. Our waitlisting resource resolves this challenge by enabling parents to manage all their applications in one centralised location through their CareforKids.com.au dashboard login.
When parents secure a vacancy with a service all they need to do is remove their listings with other services via their profile updating your waitlist at the same time.
The process also makes it easier for providers by providing notification every time a family lists with a service and by enabling providers to manage all their waitlist applications via their dashboard login.
Even better providers don't need to login to view a new application, they simply need to click the link provided in the email notification.
To make the most of the waitlisting feature we recommend that you process any waitlist applications you receive quickly. Communicating with families soon after receiving a waitlist notification will improve your chances of filling vacancies as and when they arise.
If your waitlist is full and you have no vacancies for the foreseeable future it's also worth contacting families to let them know so they understand the situation and don't continue to contact you. You should drop us a line as well to let us know your estimated waitlist period and we will update this on your profile.
Please note that the waitlisting service is an opt out service which is currently available to all long day care and family day care services. It is automatically available on your new profile page.
