Integricare Early Learning Centre Rockdale has a strong family focus and educators work in partnership with families to develop individually tailored programs. Parents are invited to discuss their children’s milestones, interests and needs at any stage.

Educators provide parents with a developmental portfolio for each child that documents their learning, interests and friendship groups. The centre also has a rich array of online resources and has an online parent portal where families can stay up to date with activities and events.

To further support families, the centre organises supported playgroups. This provides a structured and positive learning environment for children, and is a great way for parents to socialise and share their experiences.

Every supported playgroup is facilitated by trained early childhood and family support workers. The team can refer and link families to health and community services and the centre partners with specialist services where needed to give appropriate support.

The centre has Family Workers, who support families with children between the ages of 0 and 8 years. By conducting comprehensive assessments, Family Workers are able to help families identify their immediate needs, support them through a case management process, and provide a home or outreach visiting service for children and family members.
