| My two boys aged one and two attended Little Sprites. I was delighted that she encouraged me to visit. I was able to volunteer at Little Sprites while attending TAFE. It helped me with my parenting because she has studied early childhood development and she taught me so much. Debbie has developmentally appropriate toys and resources. Her heart is large and so is her home. But she has a small group so my boys got a lot of attention and love. Go and see for yourself. Her home looks like a fairytale cottage and the place is set up so well. Your child will love it there. Little Sprites has so many toys that there is something to engage any child in any mood. She has quiet and loud activities, secluded nooks and wide open spaces. On birthdays she sets up a bouncy castle, ball pit and water slide and invites all the parents and rellies. The kids constructed a huge pirate ship out of cardboard and paint for a Fancy Dress Pirate Party. And her Easter Egg Hunt was so much fun. Debbie has the best kid's theatre. My two year old son loved pretending he was one of the three billy goats. My little one loved the garden best. He is very tall and he was a late walker. Debbie helped me to set up developmentally appropriate activities to encourage him to bear weight and strengthen his core muscles. She had a jolly jumper, a walker and safe toys for him to explore as he was learning to walk. Debbie knew how to give him tummy time and safe floor play, She helped me to maintain my boys nap and feeding schedule and she knew how to make my boys feel safe and happy!.. |

| Little Sprites is gorgeous. Debbie operates her family daycare in a two story home. She lives upstairs and devotes the entire downstairs to her Early Childhood program. The dining area is a library complete with a stage. The master bedroom is a miniature village with a store, a garage, a stable, a hospital and dress up. The 2nd bedroom is filled with construction materials, wooden trains and cars as well as 1980s vintage toys like TMNT , Thunder Cats, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite and My Little Pony. The Games Room looks like a well-appointed kindergarten with areas for Pre-School puzzles, paints, playdoh, stacking , lacing and sorting. Debbie is trained in fostering emergent literacy and numeracy . She has a big heart and she has done wonders in encouraging my shy child to talk. Little Sprites is a small group preschool with all the resources of a large daycare centre. Debbie is looking for curious children who enjoy exploring and learning. She is hoping to expand her family daycare into a long daycare kindy next year.. |
