| I have had all three of my children attend the centre between early 1999 and end of 2006. They have all been happy to attend the centre and have developed relationships with the carer's that are equal with members of their family. My first born still occasionally remembers activities with particular carer's from 2000. When my last child finished we had to continue visiting 'little school' regularly in the afternoons after 'big school’ for the first 7-9 months.
Along with the warmth, security and fun my children have experienced. I have observed my children’s social and academic development over their time and think they have also had a great development experience at the centre. My first two were at the centre until starting kindergarten and I believe were as well, if not better, prepared for starting school as their peers who had attended a formal preschool.
The centre has an extensive communication and integration process with families so that as a parent I have been involved at all levels of the centres activities and was informed of my children’s progress in a systematic and detailed manner on a daily basis. The centre is very child focused and inclusive of every aspect of the child’s life.
I have also had lots of fun at the centre over those 8 years, attending excursions, parties and group events. When my last child left I too fel like I was moving out of home. I wish the centre all the very best and can highly recommend them.
