Welcome to Guardian Childcare & Education Wanniassa

At Guardian Childcare & Education Wanniassa, children aged 6 weeks to 6 years have fun and learn in an inclusive and caring environment. The attentive and nurturing educators value the children’s individual needs and interests and encourage independence with a program that suits each child.

Outdoors the sustainable open-plan space has a vegetable garden, worm farm and compost bin to teach the children how to look after the environment in an interactive way. The welcoming, well-looked-after yard is designed so the children can run, jump, and play. The sandpit has lots of toys, including yellow diggers, for the children to tap into their creativity through play.

Inside, the centre has large windows to allow natural light to filter through the open planned centre. The bright and colourful rooms have a range of resources and age-appropriate toys to support the children’s learning and development.

Centrally located in the heart of Wanniassa, the centre is easy to access and has excellent onsite parking. Why not book a tour of this wonderful community-focused centre today?

Programs

The first five years in a child’s life are critical. During these years they shape so much of the person they will become. The program recognises this and tailors an individual approach for each and every child. The personalised nature of the program means that the children’s needs are met and their interests are fostered while they learn alongside their peers.

The educators use both structured and unstructured play in the indoor and outdoor learning environments to deliver the program. They are highly skilled at spotting learning opportunities in everyday moments, guiding children towards lessons and skills they will carry with them for life.

The program is always relevant for the age and stage of the children. The babies and toddlers have ample opportunities to explore the world around them, making new discoveries around every corner. As the children grow and look towards their big step to big school, the program shifts gears to help prepare them for this transition.

As global community citizens, the program helps the children to prepare for this role with regular community incursions and excursions. The children learn about who they are and their place in the community as they develop a strong sense of belonging.

Wonderful team and care, definitely recommend. Would be improved to 5 stars with more on time updates to the storypark app and formal regular learning updates.
