Our centre chef prepares and cooks healthy and nutritious meals daily, catering to the unique dietary requirements of every child. We believe that by encouraging active participation (such as growing their own fruit and vegetables, preparing, and finally cooking!) children learn to appreciate and understand the importance of healthy eating.

Our centre offers children nutrient-rich, unprocessed, and seasonal whole foods – created to delight the fussiest eaters.

Hi my name is Lisa and I am the Centre Manager here at Golden Grove World of Learning. I commenced working in the sector since 2003 in a variety of settings in a variety of roles and hold a Diploma of Children's Services as well as a Diploma in Business Leadership Management. I have worked my way up from a permanent educator to Lead to Assistant Centre Manager to Centre Manager, which I have been doing since 2015. I have been employed within the company since December 2016 as a Centre Manager at our sister centre Kindy Patch Salisbury Heights for over 5 years. I am also a Certified Trainer within G8 Education, training new Centre Managers into their role. I also act as the Educational Leader building the teams capabilities around curriculum planning.

I have always had a passion to work with young children even at a young age and is the only form of work I have done. This is a role where we can have such an impact on the children's lives and provide them with the best start to the rest of their lives.

I believe in creating an atmosphere where everyone belongs and feels valued, nurtured and respected. I am a strong believer that there is always room for improvement and with that value the feedback provided by our centre community, including educators, families and the children and with that involving the community within the centre as much as possible. I believe the centre should be a safe place for all children within our care and will do my best to advocate for them.

I see all children as unique individuals and will therefore help in adapting our learning styles to meet their individual needs. I am a strong believer that the first five years in a child's life are crucial in shaping the rest of their lives and setting them up for success.

At Golden Grove World of Learning we celebrate a team who come from different backgrounds and experiences, which help offer different experiences to children's learning experiences. I believe in open communication with families and I am always open to feedback to help us grow. I understand the important role that family play in a child's life and will respect their values and opinions and will offer support to them when required. As a parent I understand how difficult it can be to leave your children with someone else, and will promote positive relationships to support your child with the transition from the home environment to the care environment.
