There are vacancies for 2011 so get in quick! This is a lovely kid’s space with skilled and caring teachers. The staff's ability to relate to each child with respect to the child's own unique level/personality is remarkable. My experience is that in just a few short weeks a very shy, solemn, non English speaking child from a very different culture who had not mixed with children outside of her own family before, became a happy confident chattering little girl with friends and eager to start at school. This child had never had a book, paper or pencil in her hand until she came to kindy. Now she writes her name and small words like cat, she loves books, drawing, colouring and working things out. She knows her numbers and 1/2 the alphabet. I am sure that if this child had been assessed for school entrance without the kindy staff's input she would have been miss-directed to the "special" stream. I cannot speak too highly of this kindy. And suggest to parents that they enroll now. There are vacancies for 2011 if you get in quick!
